I think its only a new site for the car, it looks much better than the old one which had a gawky looking Vista with little resemblance to the real one. This site has a Cavern Grey Vista (probably the best colour of the lot.. in my view) shod with really neat alloys.

"drivetech4 technology" the brochure says "Its BS4 engine with Eurotech gearbox".
Looks like some marketing stunt!!

I thought they introduced a new variant with Auto transmission

Drivetech4 as per the ad is some technology that integrates the eurotech gearbox and the QJ engine. Increased engine & gearbox efficiency. Their site surpriseyourself.in gives some info but not much.

Anybody test driven the latest Vista with Drivetech4 and ABS and all that? I think technicians might explain what it is.

It's the same damn thing - a lot of people still identify Indicas as cabs although Tatas don't sell their Vistas as cabs - this is just a new marketing gimmick although the new variants do offer ABS and Airbags alongwith the OEM Blaupunkt player which offers BT connectivity.

What's noticeable is that they have reduced the font size of Indica and increased that of Vista. The text in Tata's ad describes the car not as Indica Vista but only Vista. Probably they'll drop Indica name altogether after sometime.

Has somebody driven it??

Has anybody been lucky enuff to get behind the wheel of this 'magic' car. magic refers to a drastic improvement in performance( as exemplified by the TV ad) by just tweaking the engine and gearbox without any change in actual output.

i did test drive of saffire drivetech on the same day i did for i10 megna, new wagon r, and ritz.
there was very reduced noise and NVH were very very good compared to i10 and wagon r. and felt adequate for sedentary/relaxed driving
, Ac was also good
beside the well known advantages associated with vista viz space comfort etc the car was better to both i10 and wagon r in respect of smoothness of engine but not as ritz, even my wife said to go ahead with vista, the only problem is overs all sales of petrol vista are very less and so less resale values.

waiting if any improvement in sales i will take a plunge, also no one in temp BHP got one so real ownership report waited
