The prices are still good for what the i20 delivers. It is loaded to the gills, has a decent engine, looks good, very spacious and returns a decent F.E. This makes it an all rounder in the segment. Any pictures?

Guys, I am sorry for being totally dumb, but then I was under the impression that i20 is costly in its segment. Looking at the 1.2 Magna pricing with added new features it does not seem to be costly. Are the i20 prices slashed after it was launched?

Me to was wondering if the prices were reduced after the launch but those On road prices listed by Sidindica are Delhi prices which are less as compared to Pune and Mumbai prices.

The things found useful are ORVM with Indicators (fender indicator deleted), Vanity mirror and Burglar Alarm.

What about introducing Rheostat control, Heated ORVM's, DRL and DTE features Hyundai ??

When I spoke to the Hyundai South Service Support person today morning, whether the ORVM with Indicators and Burglar Alarm can be fitted on the older models - I got a negative reply.

Also what about giving us Tether Anchor or ISOFIX Anchor for the safety of our kids.

That was a detailed illustration sid. Thank you. I think instead of adding such features Hyundai could have come out with an improvement on the side of handling which is the major complaint in i20s. Is there any upgradation that gives a good steering feel in this upgraded model sid?

well i don't think so. Here are official ex-Mumbai prices of premium hathbacks:

Fiat Punto 1.4 Epack: 617,212
Hyundai i20 1.2 Asta: 598,828
VW Polo 1.2 Highline: 5,97,740

Out of the three, the i20 is the most loaded of 'em all and has a decent engine and is also the most spacious.

@Sid...how's the quality of the silver plastic on the centre console and various other places?

Thanks Sid for the detailed Information. Some helpful additions for the car in the form of OVRM with Indicators and Burglar Alarm but I personally didnt like the Chrome grill and silver center console looked quite tacky.

In the UK models there was some alarm upgrade system, which would enable alarm unit in those which didn't have it, cant that be possible here in Indian models?

Yes, Black dash with silver would have been nice. I have heard from few dealer persons that, Hyundai never listen to the feeback inputs of Indians and they prefer the inputs from Korean's.

According to a Hyundai UK Technician the deadlock configuration is different for UK and Indian models. They may have implemented the UK config for this new variants.
