Absolutely agree. To my Chennai-born wife, AC is about sitting in a cold draft, possible with a ceiling fan blowing down on her as well! To me, it is about sitting in a room at the right temperature, and with controlled humidity, and being comfortable with no draft blowing on me.

In the i20 brochure, it's indicated that the ABS equipped CRDi still comes with rear disc brakes. But I miss the rest of the airbags and the sunroof. I was/am ready to pay for it

I think the 1.4 AT still comes with the rear disc brakes.

Thanks for the correction, if you want the extra airbags and sunroof then look out for any existing i20 sellers. Kidding man, don't mind

Well, you know I would be the happiest person on earth if the i20 AC manages to keep me comfortable while diving in hot and humid conditions, which it unfortunately fails to do.

It certainly wouldn't do for driving my wife around Chennai then.

And, at this time of year, here, even I don't say no to a bit of a cold draft in the car!

Are these the prices of i20 CRDI with 6-speed MT? Price for the Asta variant looks similar to the earlier CRDI 5-speed MT model, so effectively this amounts to a price cut and no premium charged for the 6-speed gearbox.

I think it's a smart move from Hyundai to remove the CRDI Asta(O). Now the top-end CRDI price is comparable to Polo HL.

Well, they have got rid of the four extra airbags (read safety) and sunroof and given you an extra gear instead.

All the prices are for the diesel 1.4 models and the last is for the 1.4 petrol automatic.

I 20=asta.
Astra=opel.
