How long before this happens in India as well??

We Indians are a very patient lot.Ofcourse,if there is a jump by 120%,I think we will wake up.Until then,chill.....

And this considering that Indonesia has more Oil than India. Just goes to show that we indians are extremely tolerant of our govt.

I think we have to get the roads right first. Imagine the amount of money that goes into maintenance because of bad roads. Plus you crawl on bad roads, reducing fuel efficeincy further.

looking by the things of it that day could just be a blink away..atlest here in bangalore where i think we pay the highest prices for petrol/diesel/lpg throught india..

Not too long.But Indians have this attitude to wake up to emergencies a tad too late.An hike of another 2-3rs would fuel this agitation amongst us.
Afterall,Indians are known to be constrained to an extend.

Yeah we Indians are little late to react like that but I am sure it will happen soon with the fuel prices rocketing upwards.
