The 2 cars you have compared from the competition as Vento & Linea are not great to hold the benchmark for rear space! If anything, I think it should be compared with the City!

I am not sure if the space as much as the Figo would be right to compare with a C+ segment sedan!

I was browsing through the Ford-UK site and did not find any mention of the Fiesta Sedan anywhere. I also went through the whole 'Configure your car' wizard and no traces of Sedan.

Does UK get only the hatch and we get both?

Yes UK only gets the hatch, i was referring to the post that asked me to compare the boot space of the hatch version to that of the figo.

@Mustang, many folks want to know the tentative delivery schedules post booking.

If they are in the Vento range, it may be a big, big deterrent to future owners.

Can you shed some light on the planned schedules once again?

Here is one of Mustang's post:

Waiting period won't cross more than 2 months for any variant. That was an instruction given to all employees for this project.

Going by the figo which obviously will still sell in more nos. than the fiesta, the situation is pretty much manageable if you compare the current figo waiting period.

Dear Mustang

What is Ford planning to do to stop the Logo theft spreading like wildfire across India? Believe me a car without a Logo looks like its stolen from Chor Bazaar.

I really hope Ford takes some steps to prevent this happening on their new offerings.

I see you are from Pune and it is a very common thing there, I have seen. Almost all skodas, fords, Hondas etc. are w/o logos there.

Anyways i do not have any info on this so far.

@Mustang: You've mentioned the Fiesta Classic will be sold at a discount. Will it be right to say that the Ikon will be phased out and the Classic will be placed in a similar price bracket?

Also is there any news on what variants of the classic fiesta will remain. I am sure the fully loaded SXI and the S variant might not be made available as they will otherwise compete with the lower variants of the new fiesta.

There won't be a lot of discount, The ikon has already been phased out and the fiesta classic won't be in the same price bracket as the ikon, it will be higher.

Seen the same black Fiesta testing near Tambaram - Velacherry (Chennai) road yesterday. I have to say that the car looks much better than what we see in pictures.

Not sure but i think we can expect the Exi and Zxi to be there.

A big +1 to that, even i found the car to be much much better looking when i first saw it live rather than in pics.
