+1. Exactly the reason why I have booked FIESTA. Initial reviews has indicated that it betters the current Fiesta except the steering feedback. Hope the steering is not too light in NFS.

Haven't heard @ the 120 bhp diesel fiesta, that is a bit strange.

Below info from Wikipedia:

Could you mention the source of your info? As far as the confirmation on this thread, the Diesel is going to generate a 90 PS and thats what we are getting here in India.

I guess the 120bhp version is the VGT state of tune for the same engine ?

\got to know about it from the ford showroom i visited today. Have gone to check out optra deals thru reference of my friend once i reached there both chevy and ford showroom were side by side. Guy told me sir u can check ford car also as both showroom owned by same person. They gave me Boucher of features which only speak about interiors but when i told i just checked optra first thing he told me new fiesta is coming on 16th and also with 120 bhp. now not sure how much truth he have..

The brochure you posted seems to be the same one which was being distributed at the Fiesta display booth at Select Citywalk Mall.

The Optra was supposed to have 120bhp (later updated to 125bhp, which many people aren't updated with). Could there be a confusion between Optra and New Fiesta figures?

It was his reply when i said optra got more power on which he said " sir new fiesta is coming with 120 bhp engine on 16th" and he handed over me that Boucher, also said the car is currently on display in select city walk.

Isnt the Petrol Fiesta coming in 120bhp? I think the salesman might have mentioned that rather than the diesel power output.

Yes even I think so. He might have jumbled the power output of the petrol (which is 120bhp) with that of the diesel (which is 90bhp)
