Hope this is not a repeat. Could you please comment on the following:

1) Rear seat leg room
2) Any irritating hump in the middle
3) Rear A/C Vents
4) Boot size
5) Wheels/Tyres
6) GC

With such awesome styling and features, plus a AT gear box this is looking like a superb deal. The most critical thing for Ford will be the pricing. A diesel variant with AT starting under 10 Lakhs would be killer!

2) Any irritating hump in the middle : Better than the current fiesta
3) Rear A/C Vents : I guess it was not there when i drove the car a year back.
4) Boot size : Better than the current fiesta
5) Wheels/Tyres : Was having larger tires when i drove the car but I have no current tire size for the Indian launch vehicle
6) GC : Similar to current fiesta

So basically pretty much the same interior that you get in the US top end version.

PS - The windshield has been blackened as it had somebody from the company standing outside the car.

Note to MODS: Can you please change the name of the thread to something more appropriate as it has gone beyond the interior pics.

Quick one for you - So when you say "may be more on the F+R curtains", do you mean that their presence in the top variant is yet to be confirmed or are they definitely being offered ?

I just got some news from a friend and he told me since ford is giving everything else in the new fiesta, they have decided not to give only 2 airbags instead of 6. But when i asked, if the automatic will have 6 airbags, he said he was not sure. So as of now lets consider 2 airbags plus all the other goodies.

I am not even sure whether i will get an invite or not .

When the Ikon nxt was launched, there was a nice launch at the Imperial Hotel (Janpath). Most of the senior Ford officials were present alongwith all the dealers in NCR.

Hope something similar happens this time so that we can interact with the engineers who actually worked on the car and its adaptation to Indian conditions.

They can cut out the food'n'festivities and stick to actually sharing details of the car with people who intend to use it.

Thats a little depressing - was really hoping that Ford would be the game-changer and alter the dynamics of the Indian auto landscape by offering the first C-segment saloon with all safety features. It would be great, even if they offered it as an option in any one variant for it would offer consumers a real choice. Please do get more clarity on this, if it is possible - would really appreciate that. Thanks.

Im guessing they may also chop off the ESP, Traction Control and Hill Launch Assist from the spec sheet.

Mustang 2 questions from my side regarding launch:

1. Are they going to reveal both the New Fiesta and Fiesta Classic together. Or will they launch Fiesta and run the old Fiesta for sometime as Fiesta
2. Who is expected to come for launch this time. I am assuming it will be a game changes just like Figo will Alan Mulally come here down again. Or will it be one of those silent launches.
