Just checked US Spec fiesta.
7 air bags and ABS is standard across all models.

The new fiesta looks good overall. I am not particularly impressed with the front design. The fiesta and the new verna are on my radar for my next car.

As Mustang has already mentioned, we are getting UK spec Fiesta in India. Hence, we can closely relate to the UK fiesta more. So keep an eye on UK Fiesta. Only thing is, you will not see the Fiesta sedan anywhere on the site.

Only here in India, we are getting both Sedan and Hatch. UK has got only hatch.

I find it strange that a major launch (of the new Fiesta) is not be leaked out to the media well in advance (most big launches have the dates announced well in advance). Could it be the announcement of the Fiesta classic details ?

So April 7 is the launch date for new Fiesta 7. It seems like 1.6 petrol is available in Automatic option only ? If I have to buy I would prefer manual gear box.

Yes, i too think that inviting the media just 5 days in advance seems like a 'not so big' launch. Maybe it could be the launch of the Fiesta classic or the 1.6 petrol Figo, which is being touted to be launched in India soon, as exports of the 1.6 variant is already being done.

Buddy i think its actually quite new. Its been less than a year since its worldwide launch. Yeah we did not get it as it was launched overseas like the ANHC or the Vento.

April 14 : Delhi : New Fiesta or the Figo 1.6 Launch. Huge press conference is scheduled at Delhi. Its probably going to be the new fiesta.

Whatever reviews I read untill now for 1.6 Petrol, all are talking about automatic only. Nobody mentioned about manual gear box.

That's fantastic news. The Fiesta 2011 will definitely score some brownie points over the much awaited Verna 2011, as the later's launch dates are just rumours & nothing concrete is coming from HMIL. I hope the Fiesta 2011 is launched with both the petrol & diesel variants.
