The current Fiesta was a very good car but was compact interior wise. The same thing is being continued in the new Fiesta. People might not be too enthusiastic about that.

Interiors & layout are absolutely fantastic... the old fiesta was quite drab.

I guess not, They will have a sufficient price difference, equipment difference, engine difference and also looks will be different.

It definitely wont. Principally because the Figo 1.6 would be a hot hatch that would appeal more to the younger, sportier bunch of the market, while the Fiesta being a sedan, would more likely attract image conscious and little more mature customers who like to have a boot always

Somehow feel that the Indian car buyer will give a nice reception to the Classic, because of reduced pricing. The crowd that's flocking to book 'Boot pasted' sedans like Manza, Dzire and Etios might start looking at the Fiesta Classic as a better alternative. Also it's time Ford expands and overhauls it's service network if they are to sustain the momentum they've picked post-Figo.

I agree...in Gurgaon they still only have 1 dealer/service centre. They really need to open at least one more.

Fiesta will be always a better alternative for any other Boot-Added Hatch. Instead of having a long waiting period customer can choose Classic. No doubt this is a proven car.
Ford has already increased the Service Network after Figo Launch. May be they have more service point than Toyota the nearest competitor.

I agree 100% with you, Almost all of our workshops are now handling about double the no. of cars they should, because of the numerous figos added. Thus fights are common at workshops because owners bring their car w/o booking and then these cars can not be accommodated because of the already present rush of cars.

Couldnt agree more. In fact, even the current pricing is lower compared to its peers, only difference is that it looks old.

So Fiesta classic the challenge would be have the same parts or lesser to reduce cost. But not give out that its a old vehicle.

T-Jet is Turbo engine. Fiesta is a regular one. No point comparing different technologies.
But at trim level Fiesta will surely be a winner, cos its a new vehicle.

Guess your point is already answered.
My two cents to it:
Its like saying does i20 affect, Accent's sales figures. Cost is not everything that plays into a car.
