Ah.. Kinda good dilemma to be in .. If Verna RB has the same level of equipment to match NFS and price it right, maybe they might have an edge(A.S.S and spares cost). Else NFS sounds a winner all the way.

Ford SYNC sounds interesting. Lots of gadgets for the price. The dashboard looks, feels and even functions like a high-end mobile phone!

ABS and dual airbags even in base model. Very impressive indeed. VW & Toyota, please note.

hey, you know about the petrol pricing?

From Mustang's comment, the top end petrol should cost <10L.
Any comment about entry level petrol version?

Digging the looks of the new Fiesta! Waiting eagerly for the official t-bhp test drive and review.

I have just one question - will it be as fun to drive as the Fiesta (Classic) that we've all grown to love?

If it is the 90 BHp diesel, which i guess it is, the only pricing I am interested in is the petrol top end. Even a 50K premium over Honda city looks reasonable for such feature rich car. But seriously a pricing at par or less than the Honda city will give it a killer value.

The car doesn't have climate control too.

Here are my videos. Sorry for the bad quality, but can be made out.

Right now the variants have also not been announced, so bookings will start only after the variants are announced.

My promise to you is that the new Ford Fiesta will be cheaper than an equal variant of the Honda City.

Wow...that's one of the coolest features I have ever seen in this segment! So helpful in our country.
^^ Was always there in i20 and now in the new Verna too.
i20 has electrically foldable ORVMs but with the touch of a button. What I'm saying is, the new Fiesta has "auto-fold". You switch off the engine and the mirrors will fold automatically! So cool.

Are they announcing the variants and pricing today? What about letting media drive it? Any BHP-ians at the press con today that we could expect a drive report?

@ Mustang
So what is the launch supposed to be. Are they just announcing - Hey we are bringing this car to India! - or would they also be announcing the variants and pricing. When will I get to see a unit at the nearest ford dealer ? Except for the rear bench space (that I am typically concerned about), this seems to be an winner in the petrol segment - This is one thing that no one has an idea yet AFAIK.
