Fire trucks are meant for commonwealth games but LHD trucks?
Ambulance sure is waste of GOOD metal. Believe me this one ambulance is 100 times better than those ugly TOPLINE Life-brigades, which ironically are not even equipped properly.

Sonu, these are exclusive pictures. Hope you don't get into trouble for this.

Not exactly a luxury but still has four wheels & crying for some of its space in this world. This forlorn site dumper by BARFORD lying un-used. Dont get me wrong because I am not mad but when I see such 'forgotten' vehicles. I feel like talking to them, asking them about their birthplace, their days of glory & sadly about their present sad state. That's why I religiously visit "rust in pieces.. thread" everyday. Because I believe that every vehicle has soul, all you need to do is 'turn the key'..

Enjoy

Is the Kenworth truck a new one? The design is dated and I think the Govt is just borrowing them for temporary use during the games. The Airport bus looks awesome though. What a sad fate for the F350 Ambulance

Some more Grand Vitara's (Being loaded on car carriers)

Following GV's arrived yday & were being loaded on carriers under our supervision. Some funny things noted during inspections:
a) Cigarette lighters found missing in most CBU's.
b) Tyre changing jack found missing in one unit.
c) Spare lamps missing from glove compartment (sealed with stickers & tiebands) in three units
Few more but they are of official kind.

Loved the bus. A little research gave out following info:

The bus is manufactured by Contrac Cobus who manufacture and produce infield shuttle buses used at airports. The company was founded in 1978 in Wiesbaden, Germany.

So the Vitara is a fully imported model. Was wondering when loading the vehicles in the trailer how do the drivers get down after parking the cars inside the container. There is hardly any space left to open the door.

And that Cobus 3000 is the Queen of low riders

I feel sorry for the F350 Ambulance. If I ever get to lay my hands on her or something similar, it's gonna be one helluva camper!!

The VW ambulance will be on auction around Oct 2010.

This particular american ambulance is here on transit. Its another story that its rotting to slow death from last year.

GV's wheels look odd - is there some kind of plastic cover over the alloys?
