ditto!

even to get close to 25% it takes lots of hard work and money.

sure u can beat a ferraris with your cars but that is after you invest more moeny than your car on the engine.

10-15% is more like it

Wow. looks like someone's getting belted on this thread...

200 bhp RS sounds great. Bring it on!

Btw, I'd still prefer the Civic with some mods. I don't entirely like the Skoda's handling. And when you're on the happy side of 200km/h, handling DOES count...

you need to make up your mind if you are talking about high speed stability or cornering

the Skoda Rs is just as stable through the corners if not more
might be a bit less nimble

it also depends on the suspension setup and tyres

And most honda cars are not stable beyond 170-190 km/h including the accord
steering gets to light and the car begins to feel uneasy

The skoda vRS handles extremely well

Ask GTO !!!!
Refernce would be marine drive & kawasaki

My mind is made up: I'm talking about handling, which would include stability and cornering. I didn't know you had made these offical divisions where high speed stability is one parameter and cornering is something completely different and the two are not linked in any ways.

I've driven both cars in New Zealand, and I found the Skoda damn heavy around high speed turns, unlike the Civic which I found pretty nimble. That's just my opinion, I'm not saying its God's own truth.

You need to stop taking this personally. I just expressed a preference. I'm sure you really like your Skoda and think its the next best thing to an Enzo, but that's your opinion and I may not agree, but I respect it without questioning your mental state of mind. Please try and reciprocate.

it all depends on how people like to drive.

Octavia is heavy but the Rs is anyday more better handler than the civic.

civic is no slouch either and remains close due to its lightweight.

but how many of you think the 200bhp will be logical enough on Indian roads.

I drove the RS (150hp) and I found it to be much more powerful than needed.

Case in point: My question to K&N distributors in India in the thread 'Myth or Reality', stands unanswered even though these people are on the board....

Second, boyracers in India, stop being so naive and taking horsepower and other claims at face value. Gaining HP ain't that easy.

Exactly . Makes no sense to talk abt power or torque gains without a dyno (no, g-meters never get you bang on ) .

btw, anyone out here uses a g-tech? You might be shocked by its results, as no one ever talks about drivetrain ,rolling, aerodynamic and environmental power losses.

ummm Correction. Its not just bhp but more of Torque that helps. Bhp and torque go hand in hand.

Its a pity half the people dont even know what Torque is.
