The ARAI tested FE for both Punto and Linea has increased to 19.9kpl for BS IV models. It was mentioned on Fiat website till yesterday, now its missing.

I think they plonk the same engine in the new punto sports, which will make it a hot hatch.

Apart from the change in diesel is there any change in the petrol engine? Or does it remain putt?

Does the increase in power have to do with emission norms or customer feedback ? The torque has also been increased in the Linea, most likely for city driving.

If emission was the case even the Punto would have got a few more horses.

how can we differentiate between the BS3 and BS4 models in the linea - diesel?

The BS4 ones will come with a sticker on them.

I sincerely hope the punto will also get a power upgrade.

Has anyone in the forum tested the bs4 linea diesel? In what way does it fair better than the bs3 model?

Fiat launched the Euro5 engine with 95bhp and hence we get the same but detuned for us.

to Fiat for sharing things with us.

MKOP (My Kind of Punto): 90~95 horses
MKOL (My Kind of Lines): 110 horses

OT: Any news on Punto Soprts?

I think the second generation Lancia Ypsilon has an option for 105 PS, with the same engine.
