Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

My Ford logo has been stolen from the front grill of my Fiesta. Happened about a month back. Dealer quoted 2-2.5K.

Any idea where I can get a replacement in Delhi, at a lower cost ofcourse?

1) Kashmiri Gate.

2) Karol Bagh.

3) Noida Sector 16 also if you may come.

4) Sarojini Nagar market (Near Palika Bhavan) opp. Hyatt.

Thanks ad3952n - Any clue as to what could be the price range? Will have a benchmark when they give a price quote.

Kashmiri Gate: INR 200-400

Karol Bagh: INR 500-1000

Sarojini Nagar: INR 400-800

Noida Sector 16: INR 500-800.

I had seen couple of VW Polo front logo missing from the car. Most likely it was stolen and the owner had not fixed it all. Immediately, couldn't resist thinking about Polo - Car with a Hole

Logo of my cousins Polo got stolen. Vw is asking 1900 for it. Didn't realized Logos are so expensive and so easy to steal.

My goodness!

That’s just daylight robbery. It doesn’t cost that much even if the OEM logo was imported. Please recheck from an alternative dealership.

I can't understand the reason behind it being expensive. Is it imported or something?

I’ve no clue about Ford but VW Polo’s front grilles are entirely Made in India and so are the monograms. I can confirm this since I had seen the Made in India part with the VW logo and the part number imprinted on both the grille, the monogram and the mesh behind it.

Ah! That explains why the owners did not fix it. Never imagined its so expensive. Thought non availability as the usual suspect since it was VW or the owner did not get the time to go.

My Ford Figo is missing the logo at the back. The Fortune Ford service center quoted Rs 800 for it. I didn't go for it as it seemed too expensive. I expected it to be 200-300 at most. Is there any alternative place to purchase it in Hyderabad?

Some moron flicked the "s" from my Nano's Twist. Any idea how much it costs for Tata logos?

It is embarrassing to go about with "twit" as the badge.

Wow, I can stock hundred of logos for my Swift with the 800 bucks that Ford is asking. What material is out made of BTW?

Recently I had to replace the logos on my boot lid:

Swift = Rs 62
ZDi = Rs 54
ABS = Rs 76
Suzuki - 'S' = Rs 58.

Looking at these rates I was pleasantly surprised.

Do look at Ministers road for some help with these logos.
