Re: Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

It happened many times with my P220, every time the Bajaj logo was removed, I used to buy new one and paste it.

Re: Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

Over the last 10 years the emblems of my FIGO was never touched, however as they say there has to be a first time always! Last week the rear emblem was stolen and I was like really mad!

I bought one from amazon for 399 and now I am trying to figure out how to remove the one on the car so that I can fit the new one! its sort of difficult to pry it out without damaging the surrounding area! Any pointers how to remove it?

I did not attempt to replace the stolen part when someone removed part of the car model name from the back of my car. They left it at that and did not do any further mischief. This was in a designated and covered parking space.

Re: Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

My BMW X1 Logo in the boot got stolen. I later realized that 2 more BMW cars in my society had it stolen in Mumbai. Society checked CCTVs to confirm that it was done outside society

Seems BMW emblem thiefs are on prowl in Mumbai.. be careful

Also, please suggest what is the best way to replace? Any online way to purchase, specifications etc will be useful Thank YOU!!

Re: Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

Suzuki logo is never stolen That is one hidden advantage of owning a Maruti car

In recent times, I guess the craze of logo stealing has gone down. I haven't seen any car without logo recently. I guess it was in fashion few years back.

Once I have seen Mercedes 3 star logo on an Auto. I was just speechless after seeing that. Wonder how people even think of doing something silly like this.

Re: Car logo theft / monograms stolen in India

Someone flicked the "T" of GT from the front grille of my VW Virtus. Now my car is just a "G". I think someone needed a "T" badly for whatever reason.... Not in a hurry to replace, perhaps get it fixed in the next service.
