These thefts have increased at an alarming rate. I see atleast a few cars everyday on the roads without badges. This is sad as i can imagine how bad it makes one feel when one's car is vandalized. I think "vandalized" is an appropriate term as even though its just a logo, it does mess up the appearance of the car & also ones ownership experience.

Uhhhh hurts to imagine also! Which place in Navi Mumbai. The one where I observed was in Vashi, Sec 9-A!

Yesterday while driving on Sion - Panvel highway, on the opp road I saw a Palio Stile 1.6 brand new and shocked to see without the logo in the front!
He was waving to me when he saw another Palio Stile 1.6 (thats me). I'm not sure if he is a Team Bhpian!

From my swift, some thief decided to pick up "S", "i", "f" and "t". The "w" has most sticking area, so maybe he couldn't pull it out fast enough.

My Hyundai Logo was stolen recently from the boot. The one at the front is yet there.
I wonder why? Dint realise until i got home & noticed the boot after parking. This happened in South Mumbai. Pisses me off.

Mumbai: car logo theft / monograms stolen

Over the past few months, there has been a lot theft on car's exteriors such as mirrors, logo badges, etc especially in Mumbai.

Yesterday my BMW's logo got ripped of the back. I'd be honest, it did cross my mind to get it for much cheaper from chor bazaar but then my better side kicked in, it would indirectly be supporting a booming market for such thefts to rise. So i went ahead and got it fitted from the service center instead.

But whats your take on it? Lets be honest on this poll.

(Rumor has it that some of the political party goons are behind this to provide funding for campaigns since elections are approaching)

Note: this poll is anonymous, so nobody is judged on their moral views.
