Were there any major recalls done by any european car company in this year as well?

In some ways doesn't this raise a question on the reliability of japanese cars? Although I also own one and am completely satisfied and not just going by Toyota recalls the inclusion of Honda and Mitsu also casts a small cloud in my mind. Is the Japanese bullet-proof reliability still present?
