Echo your thoughts.. Maybe Hyundai will push the current Verna under the Accent badge and sell the new Verna as Verna .. Never know!

Quite difficult to retain a car (verna) and badge it as something else (accent), and introduce a new car and badge it as the old one.

IMO they should keep the verna as is (verna transform) and launch this as the new accent or i<xx>
xx = 30/40/50

It looks more like a Honda now. And the spec sheet has a typo with the speed ratings showing tyre size
Also, how do we understand kw/rpm?

The 'fluid' treatment is all over. Looks like a smaller version of the new international sonata.

The car looks good and unlike a Hyundai.
The specs are very impressive - 105 hp for the 1.4 and 121 hp for the 1.6 - these are class leading figures.
But Hyundai always messes up with the suspension/steering/dynamics of the car..hope they get it right this time

Wow. I hope the Hyundai re-transforms the current verna into this at the earliest as this is really good.

I feel Hyundai should release the car in India with a new brand name, as "Verna" brand is not so successful lately.

From the pictures, it looks really well packaged car with nice interiors. I see the Auto AC is missing, unlike current Verna which has.

Once the car is ready for lunch in India, we will see lot of comaprision to ANHC, as the interiors (steering) looks similar to Honda.

launch it in the 'i' series perhaps?

The steering is similar to the one in i20.
