There are too many unfinished curves and its making the car look ugly. The current Verna looks much better to me than this one.

I hated the way the present Verna looks & its ever more sad knowing the driving dynamics of the car are so good. Another good car failing to notch up enough sales.
The new car packs some muscle! I love the front end & the tail lights looks exquisitely finished. The side profile could've done without the unnecessary line across the bottom.
If the interiors are better than the current car, I'm SOLD!!

Engine options are good & it'll definitely woo some City buyers if priced competitively, but will definitely NOT knock the City off its top perch.

Interior Pic

2011 Hyundai Verna coming to Beijing Motor Show-2011hyundaivernaaccentinteriors.jpg

The i20 wheel has been carried forward along with beige & brown interiors. Brown plastics seem textured.
Fabric inserts in the doors.
MID integrated into Head unit.
Nice Gear knob
Can see a dead pedal
But NO climate control
Overall quite pleasant.

Starting this september, till Jun 2011, Hyundai will roll out more than half a dozen new products in the Indian market, as told by Mr. A.

Watch this space.

Interiors

Oh God...no! why is the interior styling so conservative?
They could have really gone a notch above the competition with the styling of the interior. The 2011 Fiesta has the best interior of the lot IMO. Even the i20 interior has a lot more flare. Got to say i still love the rear end styling of the new Verna.

if they launch diesel variant with air bags of this model in 8-9 lakhs, i will be buying it for sure, if they price it 10L or more then i will go for honda city or may be upcoming diesel corolla

Honda brand has more reputation attached to it which Hyundai can never match in India.

In its press release, Hyundai mentioned that THIS particular verna is a "China-only" low cost model.
Expect the Korean and Indian versions to be better equipped and better quality, may be even a bit different looking..

When is the expected launch date in India. I dont want to land up buying current Verna only to find this beauty in the market couple of months later.

As said by anachronix, it has too many curves and creases. Looks distinctly korean. Why cant the koreans design a car with simple and clean lines. As the linea and GP have shown, simple is great. And simple should not be boring (LOGAN!!!)

Wow! What a looker! i always hated Verna for its pathetic looks. Can't believe what Hyundai has done to it. Because of bland looks, Verna didn't sell as well as Accent did. But all this is about to change. Verna has redeemed itself. Other sedans better watch out.
