Our first ever car, the maruti omni was used by us for about 4 odd years and it was sold to make way for a Hyundai Accent.
A few more years and the Accent was sold off for a Toyota Corolla, which again was sold last year. Nothing has replaced it yet.

Simultaneously, a Matiz made way for a Fiat Palio 1.6 SP. This car was sold because of some inherent problems.
After test driving multiple cars, came back to the Fiat family and picked up a Fiat Palio 1.2 NV Sports.
This car was forced to make way for a Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 MJD

Sold the Premier Padmini as it had become old, now I have a 1984 model SS80 DX,

I don't think I am going to sell this at all as its compact, rugged and very useful for driving in the city.

I sold my 97 model Zen in 2009 which i was using for 4 years since it became too old and required sizeable investment to make it fit.

I sold my 99 esteem after 8 months of owning it. I brought the pre-owned car in 2008.

Major mistake:
The car was a lemon, I never knew driving & the technicalities of a car before buying. I spent, spent, spent money on it, around 80k rupees & around 25-30 trips to the garage with 10-12 breakdowns. After all these I never felt better even when the car was in good condition, so I sold it..

I brought a baleno, I am happy with it & I will not sell this car at all.

I sold my Maruti 800 only to upgrade to the FIGO. Not because it was a 800. I had done only 23000 kms in 4.5 years and it was in mint condition. In fact i am yet to come in terms of who may be owing it now. They better take care of it...I gave it for 1 lakh...

I sold my Santro as it was approaching 10 years and my wife was having problems driving it in first gear in traffic. It had done around 23000 kms in 9 years and was in very good condition. So now bought i10 AT and my wife loves it.

Two cars we sold -

A Maruti 800 AC- bought in 97 and sold in 2009. Did a lakh plus kms and my father used to drive it. Only problem the car had recently had was overheating - possibly because of an old radiator? The AC still worked and in general, the car never let us down whether dustry trails, broken tarmac, large potholes - my father used to drive 600 kms every weekend to travel back home from the place he worked in.

A Fiat Uno 1.2 ELX - Bought in 2000, sold in 2005 after 75k Kms. The car was never a paragon of reliability. Fiat tried their level best not to service and support the car, no matter who in the company you talked to. AC breakdowns happened every 6 months and after the first 3 years, the belts and related bearings would retire at whims. Gave it to my wife (along with a driver) after I bought the Baleno but she promply gave the car back to me and took my Baleno.

Still miss the solid feel, cushy ride and excellant handling that the Uno offered. But all the sturdiness did not translate in even an iota of reliability especially after the first 40k.

Was driving to a critical meeting one day and the car broke down - Exchanged it within the next week for a new Santro.

The two M800 DX sold as they had become old (5 years)

2006 NHC sold in 2006 itself because it sucked.

1998 OHC sold in 2008 because of 'Temporary Insanity'

Needed the parking space for my other Fords, a 4 year old Fiesta and a new Endy. Hence sold the 10 year old Ikon. But it was primarily triggered by the trouble I was given by the RTO and traffic police for running GA plates in Pune, and didn't really have the patience to get the car transferred to Maha.
