I guess ford will not learn.
Their earlier pricing fiasco has Fusion selling with a 50K discount + 0% loan for 5 years on 5L.
7.25L ex showroom puts it in innova/safari territory(Power windows version is 7.6 ex showroom delhi) as far as pricing is concerned. So unless they are offering ABS+EBD+Airbags+Climate control at that price, its a damb squib

i seriously dont think ford's fiesta is gonna do wonders
if they really got a winer they would get this engine into their western and european and also if it is there coz i dunno
its no better than toyota's or the honda's so
logically speaking fiesta should not be given so much of a thought so wait wait till its launch and mostly its price would be 7.5l ex shr.hyd
for the petrol and 8.2l for a 1.4tdsi this news(rates) is not a rumuor the guy frm fortune ford was saying when we went for a fusion test drive

8.2L for a Fiesta ? :\
Heck next they will get the Focus sedan out for 9L or more.
Fiesta is prolly the cheapest/lowest car available from Ford in Europe (of course as a hatch)
I really do wonder why they have to price it so high..6.22L for the Fusion was the same.
If that was 5.5L the Fusion becomes a viable option to Swift ZXi or Getz GLS or Indigo GLX

This is what they will do

As I expected they are going to position it as a value product...which means there's no place for the 1.6 motor.

Hey dadude,
check out the test in November's ACI.
Would this car also get a RIO kit??
surprise,
accent's mileage is 8.2 in everyday traffic in Mumbai according to ACI and our figures are similarly close to ACI's so i guess i will go with them. If you want good FE try the lancer out.

I would agree with lamborghini in test driving the lancer once withoug looking at its paper specs.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!

NO airbags and ABS with EBD gives Ford Fiest a complete thumbs up. I find the prices to be pretty good though.

go ahead and get the fiesta.

pssst:- do they provide sunroof on this one???????

Devarshi,
the car doesn't come with Airbags. Only ABS/EBD.
