interesting vehicle but what is the segmentation here ? urban MUV for a small family ?
looks like an overgrown wagon -r with the M&M grille.

should be interesting if this comes in 4wheel drive and with a bit more GC

Looks to me like a "Tractor without its Trolly!". Seriously, M&M are not even close to good designers category. Except SCORPIO(which too is not a Astonishing Looker!'No offence'), every other car like Logan, Xylo fails to impress in looks departement. They still have a JEEP hangover, i doubt!.

Wow !! While all other companies are planning of trying to get into 5 seater segment with Diesel. Mahindra has surprised everybody with a ready vehicle testing.
Would wait and watch how would they price it.

Whoa! This is interesting, and looks biblicaly ugly along with it! I wonder how they'll position and market this misbegotten creation. It'll look ridiculous, like a buck-toothed gigantic hatchback with high GC!

This can't be a Xylo CS because CS stands for Compact Sedan.

Shall we say this will compete with the Skoda Yeti

If we don't take the ugly looks into account, I think this is a great move by Mahindra. By positioning this in an untapped segment, M & M is showing that they are ready to experiment with different markets. Let's see how the market reacts.

Shortened Xylo with the same height will have body roll more than anything seen till date, except if Mahindra puts in heavy duty Anti-Roll bars. And, than we will have another ugly looking hatch in the hatchback market to hate & rant about.

This one will be true 5-seater, which can easily accommodate more than one Gorillas from Aveo-UVA ad .

Very interesting vehicle from M&M. Why not do a 6 seater ala Fiat Multipla? It involves a bit of re-engineering, but would offer unbeatable value. A 3-door delivery van on the same platform has export potential too.

Interesting move and equally interesting vehicle!!! So this is M&M's Rs. 5lac compact SUV. I hope they re-design the rear end.

very good news, there will be so many looking for a small SUV for 5 lakhs with the size of a Tucson/Yeti with enough power to pull 5 and some luggage. they should target to reduce the weight to achive better performance with the 1500 cc engine.this car should be in the market ASAP to take the lead in the class
