All I can think is Cervo. Or may be MR-Wagon??
By the way how many small cars are they going to launch? I wont be surprised to see a new small Maruti car is available at a price difference of 10k!!

Maruti has mastered the art of bringing down the cost, only if they want to. Look at Versa to Ecco and then Alto, the one which was launched and now the one which they have.

This car will most probably be the Alto with K10B unit. What other car can they bring in. May be a new Estilo based on the new platform of recently launched Wagon R. Or may be a new Alto based on the new platform from new Wagon R.

But most probably this car is the Alto with K10B.

Maruti has to pull the plug on an existing car in its line up.Where else are they going to position this?

What's the purpose of this thread? Nobody has any concrete information on the car, lack of information will only fuel speculation.

At this rate, 5 years down the line, they will have 25 different cars all running on 1 litre K-series engine, all priced 2-3 grand apart.

+1 to what Anshuman said.

Kindly quote the source of your information (link or screenshot) so that some value can be attributed to the succeeding discussion.

A K10B run Alto would be great! It is a fun mill to run. I wonder though, if Maruti would like to mess with the perfect formula that the Alto is.

Can't help but note how similar the Cervo's front end and that of the Ritz look. Same lineage so same styling perhaps?

Its the Alto with the K-series engine for sure. New bumpers, headlamps, updated interiors.. and you have a brand new car from Maruti!

So it looks like the current alto with the f-series engine will remain as it is.. and will perform its duty as the bread and butter car.

The 'new' car becomes the upgrade!

As long as the buyer stays in the Maruti stable, whats the harm?
