Hi! Where could I get work done on a 318i Bmw 1992?Serious work, electricals, clutch and brake, interiors and paint

Krupesh at Electra I believe is no longer around...is his workshop Electra still around or has it been closed?

I've heard of Torque and of Hi-Rev from the threads here..

Could someone tell me where to go please?

Does Kamlesh from Electra auto still work on cars or is he only an Hyundai dealer?

All help much appreciated!!! Thank you! please:

Mods, if I am in the wrong section, please don't delete this thread, kindly do move it to the correct section..Thank you!

Hi Bugatti. 1992 BMW 318i.

You could take your car to IgNite on ECR. IgNite is located just after the VGP Golden Beach (200 metres after VGP GB towards Mahabalipuram, on the opposite side of the road).

Raghav owns IgNite and is a fellow Bhpian. He will be able to sort out any issues with the car and can give you references for good paint job and denting if required.

You could search for IgNite in the "Indian Car Dealership" part and you will get all the details.

All the best!!!

Electra is still around. Not sure what the deal with the ownership is. One of the Patel brothers were there when I went about a 8 months back. BTW, they no longer have the Hyundai Authorized service. They gave that up.

Besides Ignite, you can also try Torque Auto which is owned/run by some senior ex-mechanics from Electra. Search the forum for their address etc...

If I were you I wouldn't go to the same place for everything.
Clutch and brake are straight forward once you source the OE parts. Electricals, hope you have a service manual. There are specialists in every city for interiors and paint. Look for someone with a booth.

PS: Tell us more about my fav, the E30
