My dealer, Sai Service Andheri, is forcing me to take delivery of Alto 800 on 30th April i.e. tomorrow on temporary registration since the SA has to meet his sales target. He is saying, "Don't drive the car, keep it in your building, and the permanent registration will come by next week."

Shall I trust him and take the delivery? What will be the problems that I might face if I take the delivery on temporary registration?
Not sure how it works in Mumbai but if it is compulsory to drive around in permanent registration after delivery then I'd say let the car be at the dealership till the number arrives.

If you are being forced to take the delivery by the SA / dealership escalate and complain to Maruti. They will sort this out.

Isn't there a 1 month validity for the temporary registration since date of purchase? Correct me in this!

Here in Hyderabad there is a 1 month time limit that a owner can drive around on TR. Post 1 month the permanent number must be on the car.
