Honda Accord

Hi people,
Today morning just as i pulled into our office parking lot,a Black beauty was there, screaming for attention. It was a Honda Accord in a cool sexy Black color. But it was labeled as 3L V6.But please correct me if i am wrong, wasnt the Accord coming in 2.4L engine. If it was already there in 3L engine, please forgive me for being so stupid and unaware of that
Anyways, she looked very very sexy,Leather upholstery and Wooden console and with those R16 Alloys,i couldnt take my eyes off her.
The first thing as i sit in front of my system was to check Honda's website...but it only mentions about this 2.4L Accord.
So what is that 3L version and it was a AT too
Any info people??

You mean the facedown version... ok i agree thats a cheezy word... but getting back to the point... I doubt the new version will come out this year ...maybe early next year along with the Civic....When honda starts giving bigger discounts on the accord, thats when you know that the new version is due soon.Discount season will begin soon coz of the year end.

Sahil i read somewhere that HSIL has started giving discounts on Accord 2.4 M close to 60-70k , so that does make all of think that its just the matter of time before we see the new version in the showrooms .

The Accord is one sexy car alright and a 3L V6 only sweetens it.
Guys the only thing different abt this from the 2.4L are the alloys right?? The rest is the same i suppose

I don't think the New Accord is going to be launched before Mid-2006..HSCI are gonna launch their new Accord only after they launch the Civic in India.(I've read it in some Car mag recently..can't recall which one..)

I already saw the new one on the road today here in the states. Wonder why they are still building the old one in India.

the reason i was wondering about the manual was because of two reasons;

a) the manual has been for sale in other markets (like the u.s) for some time now, and
b) most of the models being released in other markets by honda seem to be on their way over here (especially the 2.2 i-ctdi diesel engine, which is bound to find it's place under the cr-v's hood soon...)

Some of the other differences between the 3.0 and 2.4 L model is as follows:

a) 16 inch alloys instead of 15 inch alloys
b) Dual exhausts
c) Traction control
d) Indicators provided in the side rear view mirrors

I am not sure but I think the 3.0 Accord also has heated side view mirrors. Well the worth the price difference I say.

With regards,
Sumit
