![]() Hi Folks, Have seen the debate between Innova, Scorpio and Dicor going on for a long time. Its about time we take a poll and see what the T Bhpians really feel about these cars. I have limited the budget to 8 lakhs as this poll is meant to be fair, we dont want to compare the 12 lakh rupees top model of Tata Safari Dicor with Scorpio SLX which is for 8.5 lakhs. So to keep the poll fair, which out of these three options will you choose given you had 8.5 lakhs. I think this will answer most questions that prespective buyers for large car in that budget have. So let the poll begin..... ![]()

![]() It all depends on one's usage, but if you're a single guy and want to take the girls out, I would recommend the Scorpio. It not only looks the best amongst these three, but is also very very low on maintenance... I know many Scorpio owners who have had their Scorpios for over a year and have spent barely Rs.1000/- - Rs.1,500/- on their vehicles. Yes, the Scorpios are in great condition and have clocked over 10,000kms.

![]() The Scorpio with huge alloys and tyres be a real eye-catcher. Plus its not all that bad, its comfy and has a decent amt of room inside. The old Safari is also pretty good, the DICOR dosen't somehow seem that appealing.

![]() If you want absolute peace of mind, then it has to be Innova and you need to go for not less than the G2 variant. You may have to stretch the budget upto 9 L. I would go with Innova.

![]() Aseem, you need to relook at the your purpose of holding the poll.. the cars being compared are quite different in terms of the markets they address: Innova/Tavera - Comfortable, value for money vans meant for transporting people. But take a beating in the image department.. see the 'single guy' comment below. Scorpio - Good value for money semi SUV. macho image but lacks a bit on space, handling, braking, 4x4, although it has a sparkler of an engine Dicor - only true SUV this side of 10L with 4x4 options. good highway runner. very comfortable. engine, a bit tedious in city. good image . Once you have the purpose clear, the poll resolves itself. Me, I already bought the Dicor so you know where my vote is :-)
