Sam was really nice, even let me sit in the Nano to get a feel of the JBL® inside! 'also asked if I would like a pic. taken of myself but with me not really being in shape (health-wise) right now, didnt feel too photogenic, so had to decline! Sorry sam! 'would've definitley loved to otherwise! :( But was great meeting you nevertheless!  Vintage car/bike display at Deccan Heritage Automobile Association stall:   Not exactly a car, but I really found this boat interesting, especially the instrument dials and all the more, the curving shape of the front windscreen at the sides, which reminded me of those on late 50s American cars, especially GM ones!        Although I've travelled in Renault logans quite a few times, this is the first time I noticed this- or is this present only in the to-be-launched model? Trust Renault to come up with something like triple single headrests on the rear seat!   BMW z4 convertible- sorry but didnt take too many pics. of even this car, or most of the newer cars on display- I'm more of a vintage/classic guy so spent most of my time there at the DHAA and New Mars stall! | Distinguished - BHPian  | Visited the show this afternoon and thanks to Ram, my entry was without any hitches It was a much better, bigger and spectacular show than last year. All the regular manafacturers were present but, as many said in the contemprary class, the Jaguar and RR took everyone's breathe away. There were quite a few vintages on display but, since i am not a vintage person to me they looked mostly the same ones that were on display last time. The highlight of the show was our own tbhpian's :- Hillram and his band of Fiat brothers hogged quite some attention and also garned new membership for their Fiat Club. His Green and Red Fiats drew lot of closed whispers amongst visitors. Kudos to you guys for a fantastic job Prabhu's New Mar's stall was like bees being attracted to honey. Awesome craftmanship and great finish. I particularly liked his i20 with some breathtaking sporty interiors. What takes the cake is the " Starry Cieling" inside of the car. Now, thats a WOW !!! The Jeep Project has also come out rather well and it surely will be an eye turner when it comes into traffic. Ravveendra and Prabhu, be ready to give interviews when you take it out in traffic. Went by a couple of times to JBL stall but, couldnt spot Sam there, wanted to meet up with him and pass my congratulations for "many things" in person. Maybe some other time I may go there again tomorrow. Not sure Overall, it was a fantastic show and our TBHPian's were the highlight of the show. Great Job guys, Keep it up !!!!  |
