Palio Multijet SDX for 4.2 Lakhs !!!!

MODS please move this thread if it is already existing

Hi All,

If you are looking to buy a Diesel car for dead cheap its time to hit the TATA showrooms now.

My friend is booked a PALIO SDX for 4.2L on road in chennai.I feel it is a good deal compared to i10 or Ritz petrol priced at 4.3-4.5L.But the deliver time is 45 days and no body is sure of the spares and resale value

I you want to buy and if you are in chennai PM me and i will give you my friends number so that you can bargain more for the group booking to concorde.

That's fiat's clearance sale, I thought that the 'Dhamaka' offer was over.

Are these '09 or '10 models ?

I have booked a Palio Stile SDX model. All '08 and '09 models are sold out. This is confirmed by Fiat.

I will be getting a 2010 model. Palio now available only in Punto colors. On road price for SDX in Bangalore is Rs.4.49L. Delivery is mostly in October.

After I booked one, three of my Colleagues too have booked!

Well how do you get these BS-III models registered in chennai/blr ? It will be a hassle at the RTO even though the rule says that Vehicles manufactured before April 2010 can be registered in metros.

^I also have a house in outskirts of Bangy. So not an issue for me as I will register my car there. Otherwise too, my dealer said he can handle the RTO issues easily..

sdp1975, dude, here in the metro the dealers have ways to register anything! the dealers know people at the RTO who would register such vehicles.

This is good news. The price is tempting

Are they still accepting bookings in Bangalore? Which dealer to approach?

^^After visiting nearly all dealers in Bangy, I zeroed in on Prerana Motors, Lalbagh Road. Their service was far better than others.

The booking amount is Rs. 50000/-. Delivery in 30 to 45 days.

The 1.6 is no longer available as per the sales rep. Only 2 models are available, one is the diesel SDX and other a regular petrol top end, if I remember correctly its the SLX. Good luck.

If anyoe wants to book it from the place I booked (Prerana motors, Lalbagh, Bangalore), do read this thread thoroughly:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...s-iii-car.html

IMO, these things happen with many dealerships, we just need to be careful and ensure things come right. Thanks to t-bhp! If not for team-bhp, we might have been in the dark.

I spotted a bosa nova white colored palio mjd today. I believe they are giving the Euro IV spec engine in the Palio. Because this car had a bangalore registration.

By the way looked much better than the mint white palio.

Believe the palio diesel is still available on the made to order basis.
