voted for the jazz not just because i own it but the fact that its an extremely well built and practical design,
i20 comes in a close second, though i am not a fan of the new silver finish and blue lighting.
liked the old one with red lighting and dark brown finish.

My vote goes to i20 and with my vote it is one vote ahead of Jazz

i20 Dashboard looks the practical and clean.

Though Polo and Figo also looks good.

My vote goes to Honda Jazz. By far the best interiors in all the cars listed here.

My vote goes to i20 for its texture ,colour and ergonomics.

The runner up will be Jazz and worst will be VISTA and RITZ

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

I think it is unfair to post pictures of a Ritz blue dash and Figo red dash - their greys are quite good to look at

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

I voted for i20. The plastics touch and feel is decent, its feature rich and yet not too gimmicky with lots of small buttons or a complicated layout (read Fiesta's dash). Also found it quite practical. Although the blue lighting is not the best, but it does stand out from the rest.

+1.....although the grey's wouldn't have my vote either But others like for Micra (not certain if steering controls are available in India spec) and i20 (its a dark brown-beige-silver finish) aren't from their latest iteration either.

I voted for the Punto, because after having actually seen and felt all the dashes of these cars except the Micra, I felt it looks the classiest. Understated and cool. A matter of individual taste and perception, IMHO.

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

Since this about looks, I would say i20. Functionality, Jazz. Both cars have clean lines, soft touch switchgear and nice plastics. Tight fitting plastics as compared to the older Punto's yawning panel gaps.

My favorite dashboard, Civic

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

Digressing a bit from the present crop listed:
the old ZEN pre-facelift , that is the original dash was very nice.

Clean , Crisp, Clear with the dash flowing into the door-pads , it was quite a visual treat after the boxy M-800 dash. Dials were legible, fit and finish were good and the quality of the dashboard grain/texture was quite good as well.
Also the 1st Gen Zen's came with a very nice and grippy 3-spoke, small diameter, PU soft touch steering wheel.
Still feel the Zen's dash , till date, can hold its own , specially when compared to el cheapo dash's like say the Etios twin's!

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

I have voted for the i20. I think its the best looking dashboard here. The aesthetics are just great. As we know Hyundai is known for their aesthetics, their fluidic design language truely reflects here. This can be easily seen through the smooth flowing lines and curves on the dashboard.
I know the i20 has got a facelift, but it still retains the basic shape especially the curves except few changes in the centre fascia and the AC vents.

Best looking would be the all new swift, next would be India jazz followed by skoda fabia and VW polo. I20 plastic quality was not to my liking

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

I don't know why, but I've always liked the Ritz's interior. The center-console mounted gear-lever, the funky-retro speedometer and the 'aftermarket-ish' tachometer give the car personality! I just wish the quality was as appealing.

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

My vote goes to the i20 dash because of well planned and practical design, the feel of plastic and of course the temp gauge in the MID.

I feel its a better place to spend when you're on a long drive

Re: The Best Looking Hatchback Dashboard is ...

Since the question is the best looking HATCHBACK dashboard, the answer must be... the A-KLASSE!

The Polo and the I20 are also good.
