The VTEC indicator is a cool feature.

I think we will get all the bells and whistles on the 1.8L version. The Si will still elude these roads.

As if the car wasn't a bad enough upgrade (or downgrade) the ad they are showing is downright ugly & stupid, you can trust the Americans to make ridiculous ads

What on earth do these ads imply? I checked out all three, and all of them are Zombie/monster themes? What message are they trying to convey - that it's a car for all kinds of people or what? Why couldn't they instead focus on the upgrades (however little those might be) on the new version?

Saw two new civics being tested in delhi,on the dhaula kuan naraina road,couldnt snap as they were on the other side,but unmistakably uglier than the outgoing version if it really is.

Are you serious ? Wow... Honda had announced that they wont bring in the new civic till next year in India !
Really hope someone can get some pix of the car. The Asian version which we will get should be better than the USDM.

it indeed was the new version which has the 80s look,a couple of them with a lil bit of masking.hope they dont launch it .

I am thrilled to know that the 9th gen Civic won't be coming our way till 2012. The longer that monstrosity stays away from our roads the better it is for our 8th gen Civic.

Having said that, I do like the MID system. Loads of information on tap, wish I had that on my car.

the back and front looks are already copied by the verna fluidic... they look excatly the same to me at least.

wasnt the accord for sure,the dimensions were more like the civics.i could be wrong though.

Absolutely the ads look completely stupid, at least to us. However we have to keep in mind the target audience for a Civic in US is similar to say, Alto in India. So it need not be very sophisticated, you see ! The objective of the ad seems to say that the new civic caters to every Tom, Dick, Harry, Monster and Zombie even though it is not clear from the ad how. This ad however will look like a slap on the face of Civic owners here, who definitely dont want to be associated to those creatures.

Was it a grey car with a red plate? Cause that Euro Spec Accord has been spied many a time. Dimensions of the Euro Accord are more like that of a Kizashi and not an US Spec Accord that we have here in India.
