The new Safari indeed! This one,it seems, won't have the spare wheel bolted onto the tail-gate.Bad!

While the side profile seems more or less the same, the front and the rear have gone under the scalpel. Also dual exhausts might just suggest a new mill..! Good!

Has to be a Safari because it's MH-12. If it was a Mahindra it would have been a MH-15, Toyota would be KA-42, Ford TN-22 etc.

It's new safari, had you been able to take front left alloys photograph. You would have seen Tata symbol on the alloy hub cap.

The bulge is definitely air and nothing else. The 6th pic of the vehicle at the toll gate shows the the bonnet flat.

The blacked out headlights remind me of the Scorpio

That is the refreshed Safari, look at the driver's expression in the 3rd pic, looks as if he is going to eat someone up.

Come on, Tata, how longer will you soldier on with this 12 year old product? another 5 years?
Time for a redesign for a Safari based on X2 platform.

But no rear spare wheel on a safari? If it will be launched like that, the car may loose its muscular and huge stance.

The five spoke wheels and the design of the wheels in particular suggest to me that this is more Safari-ish rather than Mahindra. I also believe the mirrors with their "turn indicators" look rather safari-ish.
Great catch - good photos.
thanks for sharing!

Hello Doctor saahib,

Shouldn't you have masked the driver's face? Why screw one fellow's career because of our enthusiasm?

This is the revised Safari. Not the all new platform. Most likely cosmetic exterior upgrades and some interior upgrades.

well it IS the Safari.

i dont mind buying it if it is IMPROVED from bumper to bumper and not much is changed, but IMPROVED!

see M&M are also keeping the same shape Scorpio and just giving it plastic surgery as and when people get bored with its looks!
