Quoting a line from BSM first drive

"The steering feel goes with the sporty sedan attributes and it is indeed BMW 3 Series-like in terms of feel"

Saw the overdrive show on CNBC Tv 18 yesterday and the claimed ARAI figure is around 12.7kmpl. And as for the price your guess is as good as anyone else's. Though my uncle who owns a maruti showroom said that he got a sms from MSIL stating difference between A4 and A5 segment. And the sms gave him the impression that MSIL will price the A5 segment Kizashi at A4 segment prices. Until then it is only a wait of another 2 weeks.Though it would be interesting to see that why wont a person opt for a diesel laura over kizashi.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon

Spotted a BLACK Kizashi in Gurgaon today, behind Trident hotel @ 10:05 hrs.
It had a 'HR 99 W' kind of number plate (Black alphabets on a white background, as a normal numberplate is).

The car has exotic looks and looked smashing in black.

For those who missed the Kizashi review on Auto car show, here is a text of the same.

Kizashi first drive and review | Autocar India

GTO: Has Team-bhp managed to lay hands on one? Waiting anxiously for a GTO review. Pricing is going to hold the key. If it is 14-16L it may start off well

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon

Why does each magazine have a different review? Like autocar says the steering of the Kizashi is numb and void of any feel. While BSM says the steering is "BMW 3 Series-like in terms of feel"!! Autocar says the Kizashi lacks interior space while Zigwheels say the Kizashi totally pipes the Skoda Laura on rear bench space and is most probably at par with the Honda Accord on this account!! Such contrasting points that I wonder if each were given different spec cars.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon

All these reviews seem like they are paid for by Maruti ! I will only trust the GTO review cause thats the real thing. Its amazing how none of these reviews talk about how the car will be overpriced at 18L and they all seem to talk about this car as if it was the best thing ever !

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon

All wheel drive options available in Europe for Kizashi and Swift. Doubtful if we will ever get to see these here but anyway a very interesting option -

Quote:
Suzuki Kizashi, Swift with all-wheel-drive
TOKYO: The Japanese car maker Suzuki is offering with immediate effect on the European markets an all-wheel drive version of its top-of-the-range Kizashi model and the Suzuki Swift .

From the exterior the all-wheel drive version only differs from the front-wheel drive in having a 4x4 badge. The front and rear axle are linked to each other with a Visko clutch system, taking over the function of a central differential.

Power in the Swift is provided by a 1.2-litre 94 horsepower engine with a claimed consumption figure of only 5.5 litres of petrol. The Swift 4x4 is available in the "club" version with an air conditioning system and a CD-Player.

In addition the Suzuki comes with four electric windows, a height-adjustable driver seat and central locking - all for the price of 14,490 euros ($18,694).

The Kizashi is selling for 29,900 euros or $38,708. Included in the price are leather seats, climate control, xenon lighting, and a park and hilltop assist.

Haha...is that based on the sales projections ?
On a serious note, these must be cars that need to sent to all the premium dealerships in the metros. I really want to see one. Im very disappointed to not see a sunroof or the rockford fosgate sound system on the test cars that all the magazines have been having fun with. At 18L, they should have loaded it more than a BMW Highline to beat the Superb and Accord.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon

All the reviews I have read of the Kizashi in the US praises it for its responsive steering and motor.. It is the first time I'm hearing anyone complain about the steering being lifeless! Wonder if they drove the SX4 instead of the Kizashi
