How is ride height and steering responsiveness interlinked? And by the way where is our scoop master? Would like to see the final spec ! Just 2 weeks to one of the major launches !

Overdrive: RK (as always) comes up with the most inconsistent review. I mean how difficult is it for the editors to come up with a 6 minute segment with no self-contradictions. Every sentence is like this is bad but its' very good.

I sure hope its < 15L for the manual, and 16L for the automatic! Thats competitive (although not shattering!) pricing from Maruti. Will sure have a game against Civics, Lauras and Jettas!

sidindica: Does it mean- Silver and white cars can only be ordered with black interiors, and black can be ordered with beige interiors only?

Quite impressive!

Makes sense completely. I'm neither fan of beige or black interiors, but I would prefer dark interiors if external color is light and vice versa.

Overall it looks like huge and ambitious leap for maruti (I really hope they don't fall flat on face). Some 140ps model ranging between 10-12 lakhs might turn out to be a bestseller (just my guess). However maruti might be having some clear branding strategy, the same which TATA followed for Aria.

Thats quite a good pricing - looks like they read all those criticism on t-bhp about pricing !

And the interior color combination scheme is so confusing ! they should not restrict it this way - customer should be given an option for selecting the interior color scheme. it will definitely be a distinguisher. [Do any other cars in this price slot have multiple selection of interior color schemes except for Aria? ]

Edit: Just a quick search says 0-100 in 7.2 s Hope t-bhp gets to lay hands on it for a detailed review.

Wish could have taken some snaps.. I was driving the opposite side & the street is narrow.
Will be on lookout. The spotting location is not very far from the Maruti Factory.

Looks like the transmission tunnel at the rear will be quite a trouble for the 5th passenger. Otherwise good leg space. Better than Laura it seems.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Kizashi 'Spotted' in Gurgaon EDIT: Launch on Feb 2nd 2011

Thanks Sid for the specs. 6 Speed AT is very very good news. Now that petrol prices are skyrocketing, wondering if switch to this car (with AT) will be a good financial sense !

The middle passenger on the second row would be very uncomfortable. Why such a big hump !!

I have seen that the WagonR doesnt has a hump, why then such a costly car from Maruti stable has it ?

Sid as usual does his job perfectly, yup that hump at back is going to kill space specially in a luxury segment car.

trans is supposed to be a CVT according to reports. It might have a manual mode with 6 speeds when operated using paddles.
