I hope I am not seeing all these negative reviews just because GTO doesn't like it and no one wants to contradict
+1.
Atleast 50% of the designs gel well with the personality of the car.
Coupled with the FTD factor it should do well among the teens i guess. If only MS had launched it as a 2 door version, it would have been accepted more easily i guess.

Did anybody see the Beat co-branded car with Levis. That looked really cool!!!

Doesnt the last one look like the sticker pattern on Tata CNG-Electric bus?

The second one from below looks cool in my opinion. Will be a dream to all those fans of stickering who want their cars to look like those from Fast and Furious/NFS games.
@GTO - Any mention of the price?

In-spite of doing this colour full stuff they should try to increase the space at rear seats, so that it can at least accommodate 2 passengers comfortably . May be they are trying to over do the things, i wonder if they have a customer feedback based on which they can make it more feasible to sell then sell it as it is.

The rear seat space in A-star is better than in Alto.
It's the boot space that stops families from going for this car.

I have seen an i10 with similar body stickers. Well, it did look 'different'.
If people want exclusivity, Maruti has just given a new way of doing this.

Nothing wrong in it, as long as people like it.

But how to remove them in case one gets bored / wants another one?

They may find some takers for these models. Some of the designs are close to many different 'characters' we see around :-).

My friend liked the first design very much (he is a guitarist).

This was expected, as Maruti plans to "portray" the A-Star as a car for youngsters. But I feel, the option of decals, seem rather far-fetched to appeal to the young, well, at least most of the youngsters. You need much more than fancy stickers to push a car as hip-wheels for the gen - Y. Maruti needs to get its market research right or change the market research firm, for that matter.

The picture quality is bad, believe me the car looked much better in flesh.

The beat looks upbeat Daewood! That design gels with the car's own attitude (the youngish college persona). And Maruti sticker designs aren't bad and it could be a strategy to position it for the youngsters kind of crowd. Let's see if it scorches the sales figures from now. I do get bored with having the same coloured car and at time would certainly fancy a change and if that change is individualistic, then thats set. Foilacar do such stickering to high end cars in Dubai but there ain't any pictures, just plain colours, mostly matt. And know what, I think they look nice if the guys didn't go overboard with the mixing. I know this is apologies, back to the discussion now.

Cheers
Champion

Nothing more to say excpet "Maruti has truly lost it"

If we can get the wraps changed every 6 months for minimal cost then it could be fun for college going kids. Not bad marketing then.

cool...

I liked the concept.
IMO these wraps offer advantages like protection from scratches, while giving a distinct look to the vehicle.
Could we get to know the pricing please? Also, are these wraps removable?
