This is Hyundai blueON, based on I10 facelift unveiled in Korea yesterday. In this car the interiors seem the same but look closely and you can see the automatic climate control. The exterior is facelifted and looks jolly good for a kei-car. Pics taken courtesy autoblog

Going by the pics - the facelifted model has split headrests.
FATC should be included in the Asta variant - AFAIK Beat/Swift top versions have FATC.

P.S: The alloys look so close to the ones on my i10 -

P.P.S : Did I spot rear disc brakes? (pic#3)

Some more pics of the i10 BlueOn EV.

The new front fascia goes well with the overall design. The EV vehicle does sport rear disc breaks, hope this along with the ACC will make its way to India atleast in the Asta variant.

Pictures sourced from here.

nice pics Sidindica !!

Indeed the front styling change looks nice in these pics. The overdrive pics make the car look a bit odd really. This bluish silver suits the new i10 !!

i seriously hope to the see climatronic AC in the Asta.

Going by the number of recent posts in the thread, seems like i10 facelift is not able to generate much needed excitement. The current i10 looks boring now and the new look will give refreshment to the eyes.

What ET says:

- New 1.2 litre VTVT engine.
- Music control on the steering wheel.
- Blue tooth connectivity in the cabin.
- The new car would replace the existing 1.2 litre Kappa engine.

I quite like the front, makes the i10 look very mature. Good mid-life refreshment. Except for the horrible Verna facelift, I have liked all of Hyundai's recent designs (new cars or facelifts).

Awesome scoop (as always) Sid. By VTVT, do we mean variable valve timing? If so, the i10 is the first hatchback (save for the absurdly priced Jazz) to offer this tech.

Now, where's that diesel?

VTVT=variable timing valve train or variable valve timing.

For god's sake why can't Hyundai give black dashboard (as in Korean i10) atleast as an option here?

a darker dash though not a black one is on the new car ! It will take care of the horrible internal reflection on the windscreen...

Hi All,

I have just got in touch with Trident Hyundai in Bangalore, Here are the OTR prices they quoted for facelifted i10:

Magna : 502535
Sportz: 535531
Asta : 612014 (almost 30 K more for the sunroof option)

Demo vehicle to be available by 20 Sept 2010.

The SA however has no clue if the VTVT is gonna come on 1.2 Kappa or on smaller 1.1 engine.
