Not as per this link
https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?...en&output=html

Some of the cars are new 2010 models.

On CW forums, there is a guy from Mangalore whose i20 1.2L Sportz has this steering rattle issue. I was also told during my 2nd steering rack replacement that the steering rack is from a 2010 model and the sound will not come back, but it has. Now someone is coming down from the company which manufactures the steering assembly to have a look at my car today.

^^ thats bad !! i guess my friend too will start facing the same problem once he has put some km's on his car. However, there is a clear lack of responsibility by hyundai to handle such an issue and leave over to the steering assembling company to handle it.

Do keep us posted on the outcome of the next checkup !

Why a LHD version? If they plan to release it to the market on last week of September, shouldn't they be testing RHD versions?

When i spoke with a Hyundai dealer yesterday he said only 4 colour options are available in the current i10 era, which means they aren't manufacturing the old i10 anymore.

Hyundai manufactures around 40-50k vehicles per month in chennai(including exports). Even if half of that is i10, current stock will last only 40 days for i10 sells around 14k per month.
Which means defnitley by oct 10th we will get to see the car in Indian showrooms as soon as it's displayed at the paris auto show.

Maybe Hyundai will launch it here even before that, for India got i10 first before anyother country during it's launch.

Front end - looks better with the mesh grill but they could have cut the chrome!
Also he new angular fog lamps look good.
Rear end - rear fogs are a welcome addition (or are they just reflectors?)
interior - looks the same to me.
Roof - are they going in with the small antenna? This is a good move as many low parking lots scrape the antenna on my i10 if it is in highest position.

Interior looks way better with the new dark breyish colour (grey+brown). Way better than the yellowish beige they had earlier.

It's just a minor facelift but it does make the car look a bit more grown up.

Hope they played around with the suspension and introduced some firmness into it.

Definitely a very good facelift. Front looks much better now. Rear, i felt also looked better(only little improvement compared to current).

My main wishlist is the suspension. Though i don't think they will improve it(They never have in their facelifts in spite of numerous feedbacks), i still wish for a better suspension. Let them make it less bouncy and improve the ride quality to make it absorb better at least the small and medium potholes and undulations on the road.

Glad to see this hasn't gone the verna-facelift way.
Wonder how the XL headlamps would look on such a small car.
Am not a fan of the biiiiigg ones on Beat.

The face lift looks good. Hyundai seems to have put things together for i10 well. The car looks aggressive when compared to previous i10, which looked like a weak bird.

I wonder what stops Hyundai from shoving in the 1.1 CRDi. If they could price it sensibly, they could see i10 sales sky-rocketing.

I did not like this facelift at all. It is actually bad. The aggressive front somehow doesn't suit i10. However it will continue to sell well for all the other good points that it already has.

I don't much like this facelift either. I think Hyundai's bumper & grille redesigns are always overkill, the Verna is a shining example of that. And speaking of shining, what's the deal with this new silver paneling on the center console? First the i20 and now this. Suits neither.

1. The front three quarter. Some of Hyundai's fluidic sculpture design elements are incorporated int this. The look is effective but too much aggressiveness on a ordinary Kei-car doesn't give it a balanced look. 10 percent reduction in overall grill size would be perfect. The car cries for 14" wheels, 13" look puny. Even the wagon R VXi comes with 14". What is that badge on the fender? doesn't look like IRDE to me..is it the new 1.0 engine? This is the "era trim".

2. The interior looks much much better, if a little overdone. That shade of old whitewashed beige is done away with. New instrument cluster can be seen.

3. The chrome grill is a big no no. Simpler look without it would have been more effective. Looks like a gaping mouth.

4. The bumper is great, not so impressed with the bulging taillamps. Lets see the car in person. It really needs 14" wheels. New wheel cover design can also be seen.
