There was review of this car in Discovery Turbo. It had major reliability issues. In fact the car they were planning to test broke down even before they could test it!!!

But the good part, the manufactures flies their engineers to fix the fault. Impressive isn't it?

Indian roads are not ready for this stuff.

I have seen owner of Porsche 911 pounding fists in frustration. Same will be fate of drivers of these cars, unless the owner can build his own track to drive.

If you have a Greyhound dog to keep him fit you have to allow him to run a few laps every day at good speed. I think these supercars also need regular run at good speed to keep them fit. The Speedo of Agera indicates good speed to be 210 kmph. Where do you get opportunity to drive at that speed without being suicidal?

I think for India as of now these cars are only good to look at in pictures and exhibitions. Imagine the rich owner driving this car in Javeri bazar or Dariba kalan!!

Koenigsegg is pretty adept and knocking out moderately fast cars capable of conjuring terrifying bouts of speed.

Well, another of its progeny has reportedly topped another power board. A short statement on its website said: "Today, 2 September 2011 at 12.08pm, a standard Koenigsegg Agera R took several new production car world records at the Koenigsegg proving ground in Angelholm, Sweden."

Whatever be or the road conditions, be it the sky-scrapers(speed-breakers) on the roads or be it the pot-holes on the road(do they qualify as pot-holes? multi-level basements???).

This car will find quite some takers. India is no short of the rich.

May be it ends up just being an eye-candy in the garage but it is sure to find some takers in our country.

Yes that was their record wining Koenigsegg CCR model. Their newer model the Agera R is a big leap forward compared to their earlier production models.

I also think this maybe a fantastic opportunity to start a DC-Design type of company that provides customized flat-beds for super-car owners. You get to take your sports car in luxury wherever you want to. Stop, get the car out, drive till / where capable, pull it right back inside and then continue on to your destination.
