With all the chinese restrictions on transfer of technology on hybrid cars, seems like none of the foreign manufacturers want to enter their market. However it is a bold move by M&M to enter China.

IMO it is also very strategic move so that we don't have to compete with Chinese EVs in India if Indian cars are successful in China.

I believe first M&M should enter India. Jokes apart, they have to seriously learn to price the reva where the masses can buy it. With all its overpricing it still is way beyond affordability notwithstanding environment friendliness it exhibits. Ten years back reva being so costly made sense. but now with liberalization, someone has to tap at the government for it to realize the true sense of using such cars for city mobility.

i am a great fan of reva, the current one, and the next one which is to be launched. but then when we start talking pricing and funding from banks, this is one car that is dropped off the list immediately. the original reva which gave 60km a charge does not serve any more purpose in ever expanding bengaluru. what we need is atleast a 100+ km range.
