Thank you so much for the compliment Pamiboy, I'm glad you enjoy the site! Yes I am trying to cover as many countries as possible, I have 92 countries so far so still a lot more to do! If you (or anyone on here) happen to have any additional info for a specific country please make sure to get in touch.

I am eagerly waiting for the India November 2010 sales figures next week on here! I will probably have lots of questions for you guys so you will definitely hear from me again!

One of the things I'm really waiting for is whether the Maruti Alto will continue its progression to unheard of levels, and whether the Nano will finally get some momentum...

Have a great day!
Matt

Am really shocked with FIAT numbers. 1025.. I was thinking Linea itself would have sold that number. extremely disappointed to know that all the efforts from FIAT is going down the drain.

Are you guys still referring to the Oct figures, Its time for the Nov figures already. Thanks ram for the MSIL figures. I guess this should be the trend for most of the manufacturers for the Nov month sales.

Sorry for asking a stupid question why is % sales comparison for present year/month & last year/same month. What is the benefit of such a comparison? Why cant it be for the same year month to month sales comparison.

People probably buy more cars during particular periods - Diwali, Christmas, other festive occasions & auspicious days. Hence this kind of normalization of the comparison, I think.

yes very surprising indeed ! even more shocking though is TATA , just 501 Nanos sold ? something is definitely wrong here ! IIRC same thing happened last December when it was low due to plant shutdown for maintenance .

No significant improvement in Fiat sales due to T-Jet. May be, the T-Jet effect will be seen in December sales.

There is no sustenance. Leave aside improvement. The FIAT sales is going down like a "Car falling off a Cliff".

Thought T-Jet will boost its sales by atleast 100-200 units. However I am curious to know the split in 1025 between Linea/Punto. In my perspetive linea may be doing ~400 in the range of Magnum (May be magnum would have clocked more this time) and Punto close to 600 units. Where is FIAT heading towards

For all those Skoda horror stories they are doing very well. Its all market perception, nothing else.

Maybe its because of heavy discounts given by Skoda for Fabia during the Diwali/Dussera.

But the Horror stories related to after sales still remain associated with Skoda

I think its the same story for all manufacturers. Even Maruti's sales should be lesser than the previous month. What they are projecting is the YoY growth. Nov - Dec generally sees lesser sales as many people will wait for a 2011 registered car.
