In which gear you travel the most

Have been thinking of this post whenever I drive to office & back home. In which gear you travel the most. Though it was between 4 & 5th, I give all the possible options here ( 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th).

This is only for the city drive & I hope that most of us travel within city limits for office.

PS: Public poll, your option is open for members

I think distance wise it has to be the 4th gear. Although 3rd is a close call.

Distance wise, mostly in third, with second being a close second.
Time wise, NEUTRAL!

Heh heh... how do you travel in Neutral? Do you roll down from a hill top?

Whoa mannn! Do you travel mostly on highways? In cities many a times the cars start stalling even on 4th!

No lol.. not on highway. I live in chandigarh and there is very less traffic as compared to Delhi and Mumbai.. So you can between travel at 40 - 60 KMPH 80% of the time within city.. So i just shift to 5th gear as soon as i hit 40..

Samajh gayaa yaar And I can empathize with you. Its the same problem here. Coming to work and then going back everyday is a chore by itself. So many times my ankles start paining, particularly the left one. Traffic scenario gets so bad at times that I just put the car on 1st gear and then just ride the clutch without any accelerator. It becomes a clutch-brake-clutch kind of drone.

Lucky you! No such luck here. I get so happy whenever I get a stretch to slot the 5th

Life seems stuck on 2nd gear on the way to office and back - and so does my car :(

occasionally, move on to the third gear, but hardly get a chance to put on 4th before i slam the brakes drifting into yet another jam.

But now days traffic situations are becomign worse too.. But still i get to drive in 5th gear as i hate 4th gear.. Thoughb i also hate 2nd gear until and unless car got Syncromesh in gears..
