Hey Akshay, there is already a thread for the APS in the meet section. Below is the link:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/team-b...ow-meet-2.html

Dont know if the pictures are generally posted in this section or the meet section. If they are posted in this section then we can put a link in the meet thread to add the pictures here.

Overall the show is pretty good. There is quite a bit of eye candy for the typical car enthusiast. The facilities are much better than earlier years. I however feel the Super Car gallery could have been better. It has only 3 cars out of which one is the Panamera which I dont consider as a super car. I wonder why Audi didnt take part this year. They have some good products. No Porsche either and hope Lambo goes a step further and brings something special next year.

Hope to see more pictures from members who go to the show over the weekend

Hey Dippy,
Thanks for the pics.

Is this all to the APS this year? I was expecting a lot more.
I was hoping there would be stalls from car customisers, auto detailers et al.

I am going there on Saturday will check it out myself. Any idea what time the gates open?
I hope there is ample car parking available.

Cheers

Great pictures Dippy!

But overall, I must say that it looks a bit disappointing! Just 3 supercars in the stall is not great! There should have been a Murcielago and a Veyron at the Lamborghini/Satya stall too! It was great to see the Mercedes SLS AMG! And what in the World is a Prius doing at a Performance Show?

This is more like a mini-Auto Expo rather than an out-right Performance show! Frankly, I liked the previous show a bit more! There was much more eye-candy at the previous Autocar Performance Show!

I went there twice yesterday, one was a quick splash and dash and the other was a little relaxed one. The only interesting things that i found was the SLS and the E63 AMG. The Thar also as i am thinking of getting one for offroading.

Going by the pictures, there is tremendous improvement in the infrastructure & facilities. The stalls themselves look much more professional & the quality seems to be improving. Will be going today, further comments reserved for the evening

@dhrishikesh - we had a APS meet thread, but its been closed & the discussions are to be continued here. Am reposting the list for bhpians who are supposed to be coming today & we had planned for the same time as well:

Im posting a few names of who are supposed to make it, please add to the list (or remove if not making it):
1. Xehaust
2. Issigonis
3. Sprucegoose
4. f1fan
5. hvishwanathan
6. Spike Arrestor
7. raj_5004

How about meeting up at 3 at the entrance (where you have to buy the tickets from) & move in by 3.15-3.30. This way, all bhpians can meet before moving in.

I might be going there at 4-4.30 pm today. Taking my Laura, so if anybody is interested in seeing the vag-com modifications, we can meet there.

OT: May also carry the cable and my computer, so folks with a VW, Skoda or Audi can get some 'unlocks' on their cars!

OT - Look at the first picture of this thread. Ain't it funny that everyone in the picture who is in their "suit-boot" look so bored, and Sam is in his shorts and chappals and looks so happy.....

The Volvo SUV pic I suppose is of the XC90 and not the XC60 I guess.
However no. of participant from manufacturer side looks more this time compared to last time. But looks like not much of ICE stuff around.

Fewer exotic cars these time around.

I was there yesterday morning when the show was formally opened and went around all stalls. Less cars this time. But the AMG and Jaguars look great.
The DC concept looks huge with those 28" wheels

Despoine is gracing the JBL pavillion along with other fellow super bikers - Intruder, Harley, another black Busa and Kwacker 10R

Very crisp report and I also noted what @Xehaust mentioned. The infrastructure looks very nice and lively.
