This might turn out to be a classic case of 'response' vs 'resolution' time. If the team is not trained correctly and updated with latest information, VW would not have added anything to the process but cost!

Hmm, they are just advertising that they have set up a "call Centre " . Strictly speaking that is what i means . Do not expect any drastic service level /sales level improvements .

on VW`s part, i am happy to see that they have taken into consideration the woes of their user and are adopting different methodologies to get their names cleared off the bad books of prospective clients

Considering that this link has vanished long back and the new contact page is useless beyond generating some sales leads for VW India does anyone has any email address where one can write to VW India for their service/repair woes? Something like the email ids of their all India service head or regional service head etc? This is kind of urgently required.

That's exactly why a campaign shouldn't be advertised before the logistics are in place. Did Philip Kotler mention this in any of his books?

Last week, I did receive a call within 10min of me filling up an inquiry. The person at the other end assured me to pass my requirement to nearest local dealer for follow-up. That's it. I did not get any follow-up call from local dealers for a week.

I apologise for the confusion caused. Since the link in the opening post was invalid I concluded that the service has been discontinued. The link has now been fixed so that makes things easier.

Also I was under the impression that the 10-minute call back is for sales and service. However after looking at the new link it is evident that this service is only pre-sales / sales / test drive registration and not for after sales.

You can delete my earlier post if it is causing any confusion.
