EDIT: another money making busines for local RTOs? the touts are going to have a ball of a time.

EDIT 2: that is a huge gap in price/quotes: 400 as reported and quotes in certain states (5,000~6,000)

Anybody got an Idea where you can get them in Chennai for reasonable rates.

I asked a guy at the RTO and he said Rs.2000/- for each plate which is like 4000 totally and by looking at the threads here I think that is very expensive. So please let me know of any place I can get it in Chennai.

Search for "high security number plates" in google images and that's the first search result. In fact, Times of India had also used the same picture (link to post)

Shows a complete lack of ethics. I don't have as much of a problem in them using my image, as I do in their trying to change the number, zoom angle and making the picture look like their own. Well, trust a BHPian's eagle eyes.
