I am yet to come across a Brezza diesel with a list price of less than Rs.8.5L on any website or dealer in Hyderabad. But, if the car(first owner) is in good condition with new battery, tyres, insurance etc. you might get above 8L. |
Thank you. Tyres were old. The clutch plates needed replacement too. I sold it to Spinny for 7.76L.

If this is a G20 3 series, it's reasonable. If it's an F30, it's overpriced.
Do you have a high amount of annual running to justify buying a diesel in NCR? If not, don't bother. The 330i is faster and would hold it's value better. |
It's G20 3 series. My run is 12-15k/year. Used 330i with low mileage seems to be difficult to find. And they are at a premium of 2/3 lacs.

Well that's a really good deal then. Can I ask how you found it?
Hello,
I am interested in buying a used car which will be used primarily in the city (Delhi NCR) with a few outstation trips. The car will be used by just me and my spouse. However, the catch is that due to work commitments we might relocate outside India by March next year. Hence, the car will most likely be used for only 4-5 months.
I was looking at Car24 zero down payment option. I have the following queries:
1. Is it possible for me to pay the monthly "rental" and give the car back to Cars24 after 4 months?
2. Is there a minimum duration for which I have to keep the car?
3. Does Cars24 take the money for the duration (say 4 months) upfront?
4. Given my situation, are there any better options that I should consider?
Thank you very much.
I have been offered a 90k kms run 2015 volvo xc90 inscription for 34L. Single owner, it is registered in the name of a company in Delhi. It seems to be well maintained however the engine has been replaced by volvo under warranty. Apparently it comes with an additional year of warranty on the drivetrain since it has been replaced at the service center itself. I am tempted to buy it and drive it down to Kerala and re-register it here. What do you think friends? Pre-owned volvos are absurdly expensive in Kerala for some reason.

Getting this deal from a used car dealer I found on olx. The dealer has come down to 38.5 as the final price . Let’s see how this goes
Hi Bhpians, what would be a decent value for Ford Figo Aspire S Diesel? Car has run Just 26k km, 2018 model.
What would be a reasonable asking price for a KA 2020 5th Gen Honda City ZX CVT run only 9k kms? The car is in excellent condition with zero dep insurance and all company fitted accessories.
What would be a good price for 2021 Swift Zxi?16000 km run. Need to sell.

Fair enough if you are waiting for a T-BHPian's take on the price. But, if you are searching for a "base price", you are better off entering the car details in one of the dealer portals (OLX Cars, Spinny, Car Dekho types). You can add your markup on top of it.

My problem is
1. Dealer portals always quote low. I don’t know how much mark up to add
2. Dealer portals do not value a well maintained Octavia 1.8 TSI and often offers low quote for Skoda cars
Hello
I am looking for a Mercedes C class. Came across a dealer who is quoting 29 lacs including transfer to Chandigarh from Uttarakhand.
C250D
2018
1st owner
Company service only (yet to check)
Valid insurance including RFT Michelin tyres
58000 km done
Like typical dealers, I have told him that the price is too high. He is, off course, willing to negotiate. I yet have to test drive the car.
If the car is clean, what in your view should be the cost I should offer?
Any inputs will be helpful.
Regards and Thanks in advance

15-20% Markup on the quoted base price? This would hopefully give you some buffer for downward negotiation too.
