Looks - not bad, just as a 2005 corolla should look like. 2 owners. colour chanpgn gold. Price is non-neg. 4.50.

What is the right price for this in Bangalore.
Hi Zulfi, IMO the price seems to be ok. But if you can try to negotiate with another 25-30K, then it will be a good pick. You have to strong on this as it is non-neg. Tell about tyre change and battery change etc and bring down the price by 25-30K. If not then also it is a good buy IMO.

In the sense, if I dont like the car which would be easier to sell and fetch me a price almost equal to my cost price.

Laura 2009 1.8 TSI 14000km August 2009. Cost 11.2L. Great condition. Warranty till Oct 2011.

Or

Octavia 1.9 TDI Rider 30000Km Nov 2007. Cost 7.2L. Great Condition except that I will have to change the windshield because of a lot of swirl marks and the tyres may have to go after another 10K Km.

Fuel efficiency of the Laura is not a concern.

Thanks
Fiddler
I'd pick the laura and negotiate it down to about 10.5 or so. The interior trim and seats on the Laura are way better than the Octy and you are looking at a nearly new car. The Octavia has been discontinued and i believe the Rider should cost around 6.2 to 6.4 at the max. I remember seeing a very good one with low mileage at citizen cars near wheeler road at nearly 6.4(2007 mid). Also the lack of ABS on the rider is a big no no.

Guys does anyone know whether the Corolla always had ABS ? or was there a trim without ABS ?

Interiors done by stanley in full leather.

Very well maintained and has a few scratches from normal usage, no accidents. Serviced throughout with Mitsubishi Motors.

MAV, IMO you can dream of getting an average of around 6L-6.2L max

If possible use it for couple of years more and sell it, you will loose lot of money if you sell now.

Hi nathan, IMO instead of going for matiz you can go for ZEN by paying little bit extra for the same model. For Matiz you should be sure of spares, service etc. If at all if you are bent upon taking Matiz itself then go for the 2nd option with another 10K less(after bargaining).

Thanks, Shishir.
My first choice is always Zen, but even 1999/2000 Zen's are quoted between 1 lakh to 1.2 lakhs. Still I am keeping my eyes open.
Are Matiz spares very difficult to find?

I myself was a Matiz owner. You can find spares. But you have to have a good mechanic who can do that for you. But the requirement of spares for Matiz is very rare since it is very reliable car with good FE also. But why to take risk. But choice is left to you.

Obviously, the 1st owner 56 k km one, between the two choices. You can negotiate it for 68k or whereabouts. Honestly, 75k is a tad on the higher side.

As for parts, I am intrigued whether some of the Chevy Spark parts might work for the Matiz. If it does I won't be surprised. You can check it out.

Even I had a similar problem looking for a decent used Zen in Bangalore. The prices quoted were obscene! You can keep a lookout for Santros too under the 1 lac range.

Hi Rohit,
IMO you can get about 3.2L to 3.4L. I am telling this based on all the info which you have stated. But if you are going for the dealer then I guess it will be still less. So happy selling

I don't know about carwaale and I don't think normal buyers who are not net savy will be thinking of carwaale before buying. BUt if Rohit is getting that much then he will be very happy I guess. All the best Rohit. Happy selling
