sms.pricebook.in - A Must To Check Website For Used Car Buyer And Seller

sms.Pricebook.in a subsidiary of ebay.com is a must to check service for every used car and bike seller and buyer. Pricebook.in introduced SMS price checking tools for estimating the car or bike seller. This is the first price tool in India for Used Bikes.

It is so simple as 1,2,3..

Step 1: In ur phone's message box, type:
EBAY PB <Model> <ModelYear> <Pincode>
e.g. EBAY PB SCORPIO 2007 400010
or EBAY PB SPLENDOR 2004 110011

Step 2: send it to 56070

It is obvious that you need to spend 3Rs if your mobile carrier is any one other than BSNL and MTNL. Pricebook.in estimates the present and future values of a used car and bike by complex statistical logics.eBay Motors Pricebook can give you price estimates for 51 models across 266 variants for cars, also 124 models of bikes across 186 variants.

i tried using this service from eBay to check the price of my friend's car. the response to my query via sms was almost instant. when he checked with used car dealers , the price qouted by the dealers was remarkably close to the price estimated by eBay Pricebook.

Guys, Bangalore rates are out of the roof & bombay rates are down into the ground, so do not compare the two.

Doubt if there is any in the market. Bombay might have, but the resale would be pathetic, so you can be sure of a good bargain, that is if you find one.

Is the low availability becasue of poor resale or because people are happy with SRV

A combination of both. But not many were sold primarily. The people who are unhappy just cant find buyers, so the price is at a rock bottom. Rather than sell it, they would keep it. Wait for a year or two & they will be available.

yes that is true. I am of the opinion that is because it is a great car and also has a significant waiting period even after 2 years of launch. what more can I say (it's competition is already having problems with sales - Indica and palio). I am the luchy few to have got it within 15 days (2 year back)
