I am planning to sell my BLACK XUV500,W8 2011 November model. It has done 17000KMs. I have also upgraded the audio system which costed me around 80K (Diamond Audio++). What is the ballpark number I should be aiming for? (No accidents)

I am looking for auto since my wifey is scared of driving my Punto. One thing is its dimensions and the other is, she finds it too confusing to operate everything (Gears, Clutch , Accelerator, brakes etc). We tried with training sessions but all in vain. She asked me to buy something similar to Kinetic Honda in cars.

Since she at times drops my toddler at my parent's place, I dont want her to do it on bike (Scooty). She will be taking this car to her college as well ~ 3 KMs from my place.

I would not quote the person today and instead will ask him for couple of days time. I would check the current discounts and on road price of this model as well.

I dont know what you oughta be selling it for, but I'd advise removing the stereo and selling it on OLX etc. The car will sell for more or less the same price irrespective of what ICE is present.

This is in Goa, where petrol and diesel equations are different and consider that Skoda gives many incentives for new Rapid buyers. I look at 25 - 30% minimum depreciation if it was Bangalore but in Goa its about 35% from OTR price of that car. Remember Skoda (or VW, Ford, GM) cars depreciate faster, that's IMO.

Hello SP,
I presume your XUV will fetch around 13.25-13.5L if sold to a dealer & around 13.75-14L if sold to an individual.
Like Mayank said, it better you sell your audio system separately or keep it for your next car.

Hello SR,
A fair price for an 2010 AT City will be around 5.75L. However,if you an interested in an AT City, I suggest you wait till the Auto Expo 2014.

Honda is expected to unveil the new City at the Expo. So the prices of the current City will fall further. See if you can wait till then.

Around 8.5L is what you can expect if you sell to a dealer & maybe around 9L if you can find an individual.

6L for a fully loaded ZDi, that too run just 10K's is too good. But as the saying goes "When it's too good to be true,it probably is false!!"
So just to be sure, check out the full service history as well as for insurance claims. The tires should be as good as new.

If everything is in order, then don't miss this car. I am an owner of a Sept 2011 SX4 ZDi. It's an amazing no- nonsense machine. It may lack some features that are available in other cars, but if you can live with that, it will put a in your face!!

Just to sweeten the deal, see if you cam close the deal at around 5.5-5.75L.
