Have FINALIZED on this car.. Will take delivery this week. A mechanic did a thorough checkup and gave green signal. Also AMC/Extended warranty is there till 2017.

Punto is a very good car and finding such a low mileage car is really good. But the resale value of this car is poor. I think the price that you friend is quoting is good. Don't go beyond that.

You can try selling it in Chandigarh if possible, even with the NOC the new buyer would have to pay lower tax hence you ask for a slightly higher amount than what you would get in delhi.

I have an offer for a used '09 Wagon R which was originally registered in Noida and then re-registered in Bangalore couple years back. The current KA smart card lists '09 as the registered date (even though it was re-registered only a couple years ago). Is this normal? Also will this be a cause of concern when I'm reselling?

Sir I hope all the details what you have mentioned is correct. It is 2009 year registered civic V variant with Manual transmission and without sun roof right?

If the above is right, I would say 3.75L to 4.2L would be the best price in Bangalore. In Cochin it should be still lesser.

7L is way too high. Generally you can find good amount of Civics in Bangalore at reasonable rates. I do not know about Cochin.

Also remember that Civic is no longer in production which is why the resale price is very low.

Price range 2.9L to 3.2 L. My suggestion is to avoid Fabia.

The car is good but for the ASC. Do not go ahead as it will eat your time and money and mental place by making you run around home, office and ASC.

I can't be dead accurate on Cochin prices but I would still say 7L is on the higher side for a 6 year old, discontinued petrol car, despite having clocked low figures on the odo. Try to negotiate and bring it down by another half a lakh or so if possible.

5.5 would be right, if you really like it may be 6, remember you'll only lose money on this car, 3 years later you may get 3.5 at the most.

3.75 to 4.2L would be the right price. At any cost, not more than 5L.
