Although I dont like this car. Its all wacked up. I think you can expect 9.75-10L.
Thank you for the reference but we sold the car today, couldn't get a smidge over 9, but we're satisfied. Even the Honda buy back guy quoted 6.5.

Hey guys,

Need to ask a few questions for two Honda cars.

1. ANHC with about 25K on the odo and Civic with 50K.
2. Are they both a good second hand buy.
3. Also what are the chances of something going wrong in both the cars. I know a lot of information is posted on the forums but wanted a gist of the things. Carwale is giving a 20K ANHC for about 7L whereas a new Corp Edition is about that much.

25/50k for a Honda Engine is not much. carwale evaluation is inflated, do not go by that.
civic at 50k would need a tyre change (in case it is still running on stock tyres) check the suspension, and the engine mounts on Civic.
used civics under 50k are abundant in market, spend some time looking and you'll land up with a nicely maintained example.

My heart says a Civic but head says a City two two obvious reasons. FE and maintenance, both favoring a City. Also chances of car developing a problem at 25K is less then a car developing a problem at 50K. My yearly running on these cars will not be more then 12000 Kms, and would like to keep the car for not less then 3 years.

Another set of questions then.
1. What should be the current market price of both of the above mentioned cars.
2. What price hit should each take after 3 years of usage and 35K added on the odo.

TIA

25K is hardly anything for a Honda. No need to worry at all. ANHC and Civic are both wonderful cars.

However, if I were you, I'd go for the ANHC. So much fun, lots of space, great FE, newer model (esp with Civic replacement around the corner), lesser number in the ODO - Go for the Civic only if you are in love with the cockpit-dash.

I have an New Honda City (2011) myself (apart from a New Ford Fiesta TDCi) - I LOVE the City! Close your eyes and go for it

Also, how to verify whether the Airbags are already deployed or not.
If no airbag deployment has happened, can we assume that the car donot have structural damage?

Hii guys in a rush of blood paid 3.5 l. for a 2004 April, corolla H2 with 75 k on the odo, no modification or extra fittings at all. Car in good condition no accidents ( have to take the owner - my neighbour,s word for it). Tyres about 10 k old. Service history complete. Having driven 50 Kim's in two days no complaints other than fuel expense. Sudden thought whether I have rushed in and paid without any research. Also want to put in a reverse sensor. Any thoughts?

Psatya ,
thats the market price in chennai and pondy , though 330K would have been ideal , but you got fairly new tyres , Do not hesitate to give it a good service , till you develop that raport with the car , enjoy the drive .

If the bonnet and the radiator panel is stock(original) , it can be assumed that the air bags haven't been deployed.

Replacement bonnets don't have a seal at the edge

Hi friends what price can I expect for my i10 asta 1.2 kappa 2009 Sept with just 10k odo reading with complete service history. I am the second owner and when I purchased the odo reading was 6k. I had purchased it from pre owned Hyundai and I have a warranty certificate for it . The car is in mint condition and as good as new .

You can expect anywhere between 3.2 - 3.5L for the car. Since you are already a second owner, the person buying with be 3rd and hence the steep reduction in the actual cost of the car.

Mention more details, like mileage, variant, year.

Finally after close to 3 years of drooling about Honda, booked 2010 VAT with 15k on board, for 8.5 including RTO charges.
Will get my hands on my dream on Wednesday!
